Imposter Vs Dunning-Kruger Effect
I recently completed a project that blends storytelling through animation. The goal? To creatively represent Impostor Syndrome and the Dunning-Kruger Effect, two concepts that resonate deeply in both personal and professional spaces.
Concept & Planning
I started with a clear theme and drafted a script to guide the narrative. I created a scripting in word of what you will hear audio wise in one column and then what you will see visually in the animation in the next column.
Designing Characters & Backgrounds
I started with Adobe Animate to create my characters for this project. From sourcing and customizing characters in, to editing backgrounds in Illustrator, every visual element was crafted to support the story.
Voiceover & Audio
Using Eleven Labs AI voiceover, I worked on creating a natural-sounding voiceover to bring the script to life.

After animating in Adobe Animate, I polished the piece in After Effects with some more animations and sound design.

ASL Video Discussions – Florida State College at Jacksonville
Filmed and edited a series of video discussions for an American Sign Language course at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Collaborated with the campus TV studio to shoot in front of a green screen, then incorporated custom, colorful illustrated backgrounds based on the professor’s specifications. The final videos were designed to enhance visual engagement and support the course’s educational goals

Grandmother’s Documentary – A Century in Jacksonville
I had the incredible honor of filming and editing my grandmother’s story—her life in Jacksonville over the past 100 years. This project means so much to me, not just as a filmmaker, but as her granddaughter. It gave us a beautiful way to preserve her memories, and I’m so grateful I was able to share her journey with others in a way that truly reflects who she was. I hope you enjoy her story as much as I always have.

Developed synchronized kinetic typography to visually interpret the rhythm and emotion of the song. Applied motion graphics techniques, keyframe animation, and audio-reactive elements to enhance viewer engagement.
